This website is intended to provide an avenue for the intellectual community of this country to highlight National problems and offer solutions to these problems. This is NOT, we repeat IS NOT a site to sling mud, accuse, defame, libel or even point fingers at the governance, ministers or anybody for that matter. It is intended solely to be a site to offer the possibility for the Sri Lankan intellect community to address National problems and offer corresponding solutions, giving them an opportunity of self expression in the hope that relevant authorities will then take note of these issues and solutions highlighted through this site.

We who developed the concept of this site believe that our Children are our future and we are theirs…We are their future because what we do for them today will have a bearing on what they will inherit tomorrow. Daily, we come across national issues ranging from issues of national importance such as corruption, lawlessness, malpractices, ethnic issues, political issues, waste of valuable resources, inefficiency and wrongful public sector policies among many others which would have a direct bearing on the current situation in the country which some day will be have a bearing on the lives of our children - who represent our future. As such if we don’t do something about it now then we have failed our next generation who represent our future.

The concept of the site stems from the fact that at this present moment in time in our country we have a vast segment of intellects who are concerned with National issues - who in turn may have worked out solutions to these issues – but have no way of bringing forth these issues. These National minded intellects segment does not have a manner of bringing forth the valuable suggestions they posses due to reasons ranging from their own busy schedules, the need for anonymity or purely due to total inaccessibility of relevant decision makers who should otherwise take good note of these intelligent solutions to key issues. This valuable resource opportunity has not been utilized as at present.

After a ruling party is voted to power the intellect community who may have valuable solutions in reference to National issues have to stay silent due to lack of expressive opportunity. As such this site offers the opportunity for the intellect community of this country to take up National issues that have a negative impact on our country’s prosperity and essentially offer solutions depending on their co- expertise on respective subjects. It is envisaged that by maintaining the quality of the site strictly to be within the problem - solution concept, that the relevant politicians or public sector decision makers - who are otherwise not accessible – will be compelled to view the site and will eventually find this site a valuable resource of reference. If we could achieve this objective then we have done what we could in our own small way but a giant leap in terms of a future for our children.

Having this site is not a guarantee that the problems and solutions offered will be taken up by the governance. But it will eventually generate a greater degree of benign pressure on public sector decision makers to focus on posted issues. In any event those who make submissions to be posted on the site may at least have the reward of knowing that we have done something in our own little way towards making a better Sri Lanka for our selves and our future generations.

This site is a forum for the National minded intellect community of our country to bring forth National problems on specific subjects and to offer a workable solution to same. As such it is not a site mealy to present a problem. But offer solutions to identified specific problems as a means of sharing objective solutions to damaging issues that urgently need attention. As such any malicious, defamatory or unproductive submissions will NOT be posted on the site. Also submissions with only problems will not be posted on the site. Such content will be deleted at source. A panel of like minded individuals will peruse all offerings to the site and ONLY the material falling within the PROBLEM - SOLUTION format will be posted on the site in order to keep the site pristine and within the objective of overall National benefit.

This web site offers you the opportunity to address problems that you face in your day to day life at your respective work place, neighborhood, government institutions and such other similar institutions which have frustrated you with its burearatic inefficiency for example or lets say with underhand corrupt deals or favoritism out of which today you are frustrated because things are not going the way they should for our beloved country. If you have a solution for such problems, then you are most welcome to write to our website and appraise us with your problem and its corresponding proposed solution. We in turn make it our responsibility to become your medium, your bridge to carry it through to our higher relevant Authorities by way of public display.

We would like to reiterate that this website will not welcome any articles which have mere complaints unaccompanied by a corresponding proposed solution. We will only display those articles which will include not only the genuine problem but also a proposed solution which the subscriber of the article perceives as a tangible and an effective one. We the panel at this end will not make our selections based on political biases or partialities, therefore it would be a waste of precious time if any member of the public tries to utilize this opportunity to carve out a method to “sling mud” or “wash dirty linen in public”…..We will surely take it upon our selves to distinguish those articles that are devoid of substance, and will be compelled to reject such articles.

This website is aimed at helping those members of the intellectual community in our country, to assist in taking to the doorsteps of those in power, methods of resolving issues which are prevalent in institutions all over the country .Therefore these articles /contributions must include problem- solution packages which are of national level. If we may further define the nature of these problem-solution packages, the problems must be ones that essentially plague people and institutions in SRI LANKA, and the solutions must emanate from those who have a genuine need to put a stop to such raging issues.

These problems can range from corruption at your work place to bribery at your recreational institutions, or it can be an issue on pollution in your community ,or lethargy in your department. As long as it is a problem of which YOU are aware of and of which you are ready to put an end to with the assistance of higher authorities then YOU the intellectual community of this country can come to us. We will link you with the right source, may it be the President himself and/or a relevant ministry, our website will bridge the gap.

This website is a result of an effort, to attempt at giving a helping hand to those of you who are weary of certain problems but are genuine in the need to eradicate them, so as to make our homeland a better place to live for us and our future generations. Let us take at least one step forward in making our county a better place. In doing this we will assure you that your articles will be taken with much respect and responsibility by the panel of editors, however this will be subject to the condition that they shall be based on the following criterion.
